When it comes to engagement photo shoot sessions, there are so many locations to choose from! Especially in Texas, where desert and Spanish moss collide. A magical spot for your engagement photos!
Ideally, a good time to consider having your engagement photos taken is before save-the-dates are sent out and after you have your vendors booked. Engagement photos are can be used for nearly any area of your wedding. This may include stationary, invitations, center pieces, framed throughout your reception, and more.
Getting your engagement photos taken means you’re even further along in the wedding planning process.
Whether your engagement photo shoot is going to be part of your wedding stationary, photos to frame in your home, or to get some practice in front of the camera before your wedding day, it should be fun and exciting.
For Bre + Blaze, we chose Bandera, Texas for their location. Surrounded by desert and where Spanish moss hangs elegantly over paths. It was absolutely breathtaking. And that’s what makes this engagement photo session so special.
Texas Engagement Photo Shoot
Heading to Texas for Bre and Blaze’s engagement session was an absolute blast. Traveling to capture a couple’s love story in their own element. Since Bandera has desert areas and settings of Spanish moss, we took photos in both, which made for a full and diverse gallery.
From the get-go, this couple was up for an adventure. One of my favorite ways to celebrate a couple’s engagement – with laughter, adventure, and capturing their love in the best way possible.
We even set off smoke bombs in the middle of this incredible shoot. I mean, just look at this photo!
I couldn’t have been more excited to venture to this location and share this album with them.
Not to mention the location backdrop in this entire gallery made for moody, romantic, and intimate photos. The ones you dream about whether you’re the travel wedding photographer, or the soon-to-be newlyweds.
Bre and Blaze were playful and full of laughs, the type of people that seem like they live each day to their fullest.
We even dedicated part of this session with Bre + Blaze getting decorated in American flag tank tops. When I say we have fun during Copper Antler photo shoots, we have freaking blast! (see photos below.)
