Kate and Mike had their wedding day at The Octagon Barn, located in the countryside of Spring Green, Wisconsin. This wedding venue is stunning and the history of this barn is even more spectacular.

For couples wanting their wedding day to be outside, a barn wedding may be their perfect solution. Barn weddings are becoming more and more popular and in high demand. Not only do barn weddings tend incorporate history, but they offer a great balance of an indoor/outdoor wedding day.

I hope some of the details I’m about to share are helpful to you, if you’ve considered The Octagon Barn or another barn wedding venue near you.

First, I’ll go over my favorite aspects about The Octagon Barn. Then, I’ll share helpful tips to make your barn wedding experience extraordinary.

The Octagon Barn Services

The Octagon Barn was built in 1892 and had a full restoration in 2016. After this restoration, the owners chose to use the Barn as a wedding venue. The barn itself was nearly completely disassembled to be restored into the beauty you see today. With its unique shape and never-ending views, weddings at The Octagon Barn enjoy the incredible views and rustic charm.

As a full-service venue, the staff of The Octagon Barn allow their clients a Friday through Sunday escape. Additionally, the bride and groom are able to enjoy more of their wedding experience with full services offered at a smaller venue. Accommodations include space for up to 200 guests, clean up services, shuttle services, assistance with guest parking, and more.

This classic event space has a mix of old world charm, modern amenities, and a lush, modern setting for the couples’ wedding day.

Why have a Barn Wedding?

Firstly, choosing a barn for your wedding venue has tons of perks. Whether you’re going for a rustic or vintage feel, a barn venue has an added layer of modern charm. Secondly, it’s truly an even balance for indoor and outdoor festivities keep your guests comfortable at any time of the year.

One of the best parts about having a barn wedding is that you’re able to decorate the venue into nearly any theme or style. With the weathered beams and boards, and stone to make up its base, every style feels elegant. From soft white chic decorations, to country or vintage style, a barn wedding venue has limitless opportunities.

There’s something simplistic and seasoned about a dreamy Wisconsin barn wedding that makes it so beautiful. Our state holds so many sweet venues that incorporate a slowness throughout the wedding day.
