April 17, 2021
Hilary and Chris had their true Wisconsin farm wedding in August of this year. The way they cleaned, set up and decorated the barn on their family farm was absolutely beautiful. Not to mention with all of the uncertainties 2020 brought, these two handled it all with grace and acceptance – and it turned out incredible!
This was a significant and sentimental place for the couple, as the farm has been family owned and operated since the 1800s! Generation by generation the Voegeli’s family made sure to hold it close and cherish the beauty within it.
Getting Ready
Photos with the bride and her mom always get to me. This is just one of many moments that I am so thankful to have the job that I do. And another moment for me is when the bride and groom have their first look. The way Chris looks at Hilary gives me all the feels. Seeing her for the first time in her wedding dress is a moment they’ll cherish forever.
The Beauty is in the Details of This Farm Wedding
With vintage inspired decor and modern boho bridal pieces, Chris and Hilary’s ceremony was an absolute dream.
They decked out the entire barn with lights strung and white sheer fabric draped throughout the barn beams above – it brought the whole space together for the ceremony! At the front, an industrial chandelier hung above the couple and just behind them and more sheer fabric draped around beams behind the pastor.
To say this couple adjusted their original plans would be an understatement. And not only did they adjust plans due to the shift 2020 brought, they exceeded expectations on the Voegelis family farm.
How neat are these tumblers? Quirky, fun gifts like these are great items to have for the wedding. Drink up!
